What an amazing school trip today for EYFS and KS1 to Monk Park Farm. A day filled with stroking rats, chicks and rabbits, pig racing, train rides, role play, tractors, bouncy pillow bouncing, zip wires zooming, sandpits, woodland walks and feeding the animals……. finished off with ice lollies! A busy fun filled day!
We are on our way, carriages C and D, running on time. Looking forward to handing them back 😁... See you at 5:08. Please see Miss Smith before leaving the platform so we can assure all children have been collected.
They have all been a delight and wonderful company.
In assembly today we welcomed Wendy from Helmsley Library who spoke to the children about the Summer Reading Challenge. Children were keen to sign up to read six books between now and 12th September. Children receive stickers, bookmarks, magazines, a fantastic medal and a certificate. The library is free to join!
Class 1 enjoyed their cold chocolate milkshake treat in the woodland today. Class 1 were lucky enough to win the golden ticket treat in the PTA Wonderlicious event on World Book Day. Thank you to our wonderful PTA for the experience.
