At St Benedict’s we are very proud to be a Catholic community, as shown by our vision and mission statements.

Our school badge shows our motto, “We grow in Faith and Knowledge”, which shows our commitment to our Catholic life as well as our academic learning.

The symbols on our badge represent our faith (the cross), our academic learning (the book) and our rural location (the tree).

We live by our gospel values and try to follow the rule of St Benedict. We strive to love another as Christ asked us to and to remember that each day can be a fresh start through forgiveness.

Our acrostic vision/mission for children is “Listen”. This is the first word in the Rule of St Benedict, and as a community we always try our best to listen to each other.

Our Catholic ethos is the most important aspect of our school life and we welcome all to experience it. Our staff take part in on-going formation in the Catholic faith, to support our ethos.
